The corn flour graphene (CG) was prepared by high temperature carbonization and Hummers redox method.The elements,structure and morphology were studied by the organic elements analysis,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),X-ray diffraction (XRD),Raman spectroscopy,atomic force microscopy (AFM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).It was found that the carbon content of CG increased from 57.6% (corn flour) to 95.1%,as increase of 37.5%.There was a diffraction peak of graphene on the (002) crystal surface at 23.08°.The D and G peaks of Raman test existed,and the ID/IG of the peak intensity ratio was 1.19.The lattice distance of the CG sample was larger than that of commercial graphene (GE),the CG was about three layers with the layer spacing of 1.21nm.It proved that the obtained CG was the graphene.And the CG was thinner than GE.It can be used in the medical and high temperature resistant aerospace fields.
