Influence of MF content on the vibration and fire resistance of ceramic silicone rubber composite

Abstract

Initial silicone rubber composite was easy to burn through in the case of vibrational combustion.Mullite fiber(MF) was added as the bridge skeleton of the ceramic layer,and the effect of MF content on vibration-resistant combustion performance of silicone rubber composites was studied.The results shown that with the increase of MFcone rubber fireproof property of the composites have been obvious improved,fire prevention level reach V-0,bending strength reached 2.914MPa,ceramization rate increased by 84.4%,and the linear ablation rate was greatly reduced.The sample was not burned through at 1050℃ and 5g of vibration acceleration for 15min.
