Polystyrene (PS)/nano titanium dioxide (TiO2) composites were prepared by using a single screw extruder and a hydraulic press.The influences of different amount of polystyrene grafted maleic anhydride (PS-MAH) on the tensile strength,impact strength and microstructure of PS/TiO2 (100/1.5) composites were investigated.The results showed that the tensile strength of PS/TiO2 reached the maximum value when added PS-MAH was 20g.The results of UV irradiation showed that the addition of PS-MAH could effectively improve the anti-aging properties of PS/TiO2 composites,and the tensile strength of PS/PS-MAH/TiO2 increased by 30% compared with that of PS/TiO2 composites.
