Bisphenol indane was synthesized from bisphenol A,then the diamine monomer 6-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyl)phenoxy-1-[4-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyl) phenoxy] phenyl-1,3,3-trimethyl indene containing asymmetric indane structure and trifluoromethyl was prepared by nucleophilic substitution and hydrogenation reduction with 2-chloro-5-nitrobenzotrifluoride.The effects of factors on product yield were investigated,and the products were characterized by IR and NMR.The results shown that diamine monomer was successfully prepared and the yield can reach 97.51% when the molar ratio of H2 to dinitrocompound was 1∶12 and the amount of the Pd/C catalyst was 10% by mass of the dinitro compound at 60℃ for 3h.
