The home-made modified nano TiO2 reacted with diphenylmethane diisocyanate,polyether glycol,dihydroxymethylpropanoic acid and diethylene glycol under the action of a catalyst.The resulted product was analyzed by infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM).It was confirmed that the nano TiO2 was successfully grafted onto the PUR molecular chain to form a stable modified nano TiO2/PUR composite emulsion.The results shown that with the increase of the content of nano TiO2,the thermal stability and water resistance of the composite coating,the hardness and shock resistance of the coating pencil,and the Tg(glass-transition temperature) increased.When the content of TiO2 was 0.8%,the composite properties of the coating were optimal.
