Leakage plugging materials have important applications in oil and gas exploitation,long-distance transportation and storage.Intelligent plugging materials can realize the identification and aggregation of slit sites through the environmental changes generated at the micron scale slit,and then accomplishes the effective plugging of leakage points through its own accumulation and cross linking.The CaCO3 with appropriate density as the core and coated with the outer layer with functional organic materials,the intelligent response of pH value change can be achieved.The results shown that the particles with different sizes accumulated at the crack leakage site.When the pH value increased,the cross linking between the particles formed a solid plugging materials with certain mechanical strength,which can withstand the pressure higher than 20MPa.
