Polystyrene(PS) board is the core material of building exterior insulation system.When fire occurs,the flame spreads quickly,and it is easy to produce a large amount of toxic fumes,which affected the fire safety of building.Gypsum and fly ash were used as self-leveling mortar base materials,and different amounts of magnesium hydroxide flame retardant were added to study the smoke generation law of self-leveling fireproof PS board.The results shown that the burning grade of PS board coated with self-leveling mortar can reach V-0 level,the average smoke density was 4~13 times lower than that of PS board,and the peak value of smoke density was extended by 60~120s,and effectively reduced the concentration of CO,magnesium hydroxide can reduce the surface layer of SO2 concentration.With the increase of magnesium hydroxide content,the flame retardant and smoke suppression effect of the veneer layer was better.The water-to-binder ratio was 0.30,the sand-to-binder ratio was 0.50,and the fly ash substitution rate was 30%.The decorative layer with a water reducing agent content of 0.2% and a magnesium hydroxide content of 10% had the best flame retardant and smoke suppressing properties.
