Abstract

Shape memory polyurethane foams (SMPUF) were synthesized using the materials as follows:liquefied MDI (MM103),polycaprolactone diol (PCL) and 1,6-hexanediol (HDO) as the main raw materials,together with water and dichlorofluoroethane as co-blowing agents,and triethylamine and dibutyltin dilaurate as catalysts.Then the sealing foam were prepared by pressing the synthesized SMPUF.The properties of SMPUF and sealing foam were investigated by density testing,differential scanning calorimetry,and shape memory performance testing.The results showed that the density of the foam was 1.1g/cm3,the shape recovery temperature was 80℃.The foam had an excellent shape memory performance,which could meet the sealing requirement of prefabricated building.
