Cured epoxy resin with different accelerator content was prepared,using bisphenol A epoxy resin,methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride and dimethylbenzylamine as the main raw materials.The effect of accelerator content on the heat resistance and mechanical properties of the resin was studied.The result showed that the increasing the accelerator content was beneficial to improve the heat resistance of the resin.When the accelerator content was greater than 0.5phr,the initial decomposition temperature (T5%) of the resin was greater than 350℃.When the accelerator content was 0.5phr,the tensile strength and hardness of the resin reached the maximum,which were 76.84MPa and 92.5D,respectively.And the color of the resin gradually changed from yellow to dark brown with the increase of the accelerator content.
