Using methylene blue (MB) in dye wastewater as the target pollutant,the effects of,solution pH value,initial MB concentration and PDS concentration of visible light activated peroxodisulfate (PDS) system on the degradation of MB solution were investigated.The main reactive species in the system was analyzed.The results showed that the visible light activated PDS system had a better effect of removing MB under acidic conditions,and increasing the dosage of PDS were contribute to the degradation of MB.The active species quenching test showed that:·SO-4 was the main active free radical in the degradation reaction of MB,while the presence of ·OH had little effect on the removal of MB.The results confirmed that visible light activated PDS as a new advanced oxidation technology had a significant effect on the degradation of organic pollutants in dye wastewater.
