Ultrahigh-Nickel NCA ternary precursor Ni0.91Co0.06Al0.03(OH)2 was prepared by coprecipitation method with nickel sulfate,cobalt sulfate and sodium metaaluminate as raw materials.The corresponding cathode material Ni0.91Co0.06Al0.03O2 was synthesized by high temperature solid-state method.The morphology,crystal structure,particle size and electrical properties of the precursor and the corresponding cathode material were characterized by X-ray powder diffractometer,particle size analyzer and electrochemical workstation.The results shown that the cathode material of 20mL/min flow had good crystallinity and no other impurities.The obtained particle size was about 11μm,with good sphericity and uniform distribution of primary particles.It indicated that the cathode materials had better electrochemical properties.The first charge and discharge specific capacity were 232.44mAh/g and 211.49mAh/g at 0.1C.The capacity retention rate was 78.6% after 100 cycles.
