The corrosion resistance of waterborne epoxy coating is worse than that of solvent based epoxy coating.The anticorrosive performance of waterborne epoxy coating can be greatly improved through modification by nanomaterials.Based on the principle of improving the anticorrosion properties of the waterborne epoxy coating,the research progress of waterborne epoxy anticorrosive coatings modified by three nanomaterials were reviewed,consisiting of zero-dimensional (ZrO2,TiO2,etc.),one-dimensional (polyaniline,carbonnanotube,etc.),two-dimensional (graphene,oxidizedgraphene,hexagonal boron nitride,etc.)nanomaterials.The advantages and disadvantages of three resins modified by nanomaterials were pointed out.Additionally,the development trend and application prospect of the coatings were prospected.
