Organic sulfide such as carbonyl sulfide (COS) and carbon disulfide (CS2) are widely coexisted in the industrial tail gas,for example,coal-gas,fiber tail gas,coke oven gas,yellow phosphorus tail gas and so on.They are one of the important atmospheric pollutants,which have caused serious problems to human health and ecological environment.The method of catalytic hydrolysis can hydrolyze COS and CS2 into H2S and CO2 at low temperature,while the product H2S can be oxidized into single S and recycled by catalytic oxidation.The related research achievements of catalysts in hydrolysis of COS,CS2 and concerted catalysis of two gases were summarized both in supported catalyst and unsupported catalyst.Meanwhile,the production mechanism of H2S in hydrolysis COS,CS2 and the formation of sulfate on the surface of deactivated catalyst were reviewed.A reference to the development and application of the way that hydrolysis COS,CS2 or both gases was provided,and provided theoretical guidance for reducing H2S sulfation in the preparation of the catalyst.
