The perfluoropolyether acyl fluoride was grafted onto the surface of Fe3O4 coated with SiO2 by amidation reaction to obtain a kind of magnetic particles,which can self-disperse in perfluoropolyether oil to form thermodynamical stable perfluoropolyether based magnetic fluid.The structure and properties of the magnetic fluid were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,particle analyzer and vibrating sample magnetometer.And for determining the stability of the magnetic fluid,it was centrifuged in a centrifuge.The results shown that the magnetic fluid with best magnetic property was synthesized at 50℃,with optional molar ratio of Fe2+/Fe3+=1.5∶2,about 1.00mL TEOS was add in and reaction time of 2 hours.Meanwhile it was stable and without stratification,even under the centrifugal condition of 4000rpm.
