Titanium pillared montmorillonite (Ti-PILM) nanocomposite was synthesized by hydrolysis method using TiCl4 as titanium resource and purified Na-mt as matrix.The factors affecting the synthesis of Ti-PILM and its photocatalytic degradation property on the methylene blue were researched.The results showed that the degradation rate of methylene blue solution reached 92.03% when the initial concentration of methylene blue was 40mg/L,the dosage of Ti-PILM was 2g/L,the adsorption time was 30 min and the photocatalytic activity was 150min.
