A new kind of flexible boron-based phenyl silicone rubber neutron shielding material was developed.The effects of different B4C content on the mechanical property,thermal property and neutron shielding property of composite were the key research.The research showed that the tensile strain and tensile strength of composite decreased with the increase of B content,and the heat resistance and neutron shielding property increased with the augment of B content.The Nanocomposite had a certain improvement in mechanical property,thermal property and neutron shielding property compared with those of micron composite material.The experimental results showed that the new type material possessed the potential to be applied in the complex nuclear technology field with various structure and different shape.It had a great application prospect.
