In this study,La/Al-loaded natural zeolite was prepared using natural zeolite as raw material,and used for the adsorption of fluoride ions (F-) in water.The adsorption kinetics,isothermal adsorption performance,regeneration capacity and adsorption mechanism of the absorbent were investigated.The results showed that the adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherms could be fitted by the proposed secondary kinetic equation and Langmuir model.The theoretical maximum adsorption capacity was 19.2mg/g at 298K.The increase of pH was not favorable to the adsorption of F-.Cl- and NO-3 had little effect on the adsorption of F-,while the presence of HCO-3 and H2PO-4 was not favorable to the adsorption of F-.The adsorption of F- by the adsorbent was reduced by 16.7% after five cycles of regeneration under 0.5mol/L NaOH.SEM,BET,EDS-mapping and XPS analyses revealed that the adsorption mechanism of F- was mainly ligand exchange.
