摘要

采用两步法合成了具有中空特征的ZnO@CeO2微球光催化剂。首先,以二水合乙酸锌、六亚甲基四胺、二水合柠檬酸三钠为原料,采用水热法和煅烧处理合成了纳米晶ZnO中空微球。然后以六水合硝酸铈为铈源,通过化学浴沉积和煅烧处理在ZnO晶粒表面修饰了纳米尺寸的CeO2。使用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)及透射电镜(TEM)分析方法对合成的CeO2修饰的纳米晶中空ZnO微球进行了表征。结果表明:ZnO@CeO2复合光催化剂的光催化活性与CeO2复合量有关。当CeO2复合的摩尔分数为1.5%时,复合光催化剂对亚甲基蓝表现了最佳的光催化降解效率。与纯ZnO相比,复合光催化剂在光照时间60min内对亚甲基蓝的降解效率提高了19.5%。经CeO2修饰后ZnO催化剂活性的增强主要归因于复合形成的异质结对光生电子-空穴对复合的抑制作用。

Abstract

Two-step process was adopted to synthesize ZnO@CeO2 microsphere photocatalysts with hollow feature.First,nanocrystalline ZnO hollow microspheres were perpared by hydrothermal approach and subsequent calcination process,using zinc acetate dihydrate,hexamethylenetramine and trisodium citrate dihydrate as raw materials.Then,nanometer-sized CeO2 was modified onto the surface of ZnO nanocrystals by chemical bath deposition and calcination precess with cerium nitrate hexahydrate as the cerium source.The CeO2 modified nanocrystalline hollow ZnO microspheres were characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).The result shown the photocatalytic activity of ZnO@CeO2 composite photocatalyst depending on the molar fraction of CeO2.When the molar fraction of CeO2 was controled to be 1.5%,the composite photocatalyst shown the best photocatalytic efficiency for methylene blue(MB).The degradation efficiency of MB by the photocatalyst compared with pure ZnO was increased by 19.5% within 60 min of illumination time.The enhanced activity of ZnO catalysts modified by CeO2 was mainly attributed to the suppression effect of heterojunction on the recombination of photogenerated electron-hole pair.
