Carbon nanotube (CNT) has been widely applied in yielding the nanocomposites due to its excellent comprehensive properties.Recently,a lot of researches have focused on the fabrication of CNT nanohybrids combined with nanoscale metal,non-metal or oxide particles via self-assembly.The research progresses of surface hybridization of CNT and its applications on the EP nanocomposites during the past five years were reviewed.The effects of CNT nanohybrids on the mechanical properties,electrical conductivity,thermal stability,tribological behavior and flame retardancy of EP nanocomposites were emphasized and discussed in detail,and analyzed the mechanisms.
