Binary grafted starch was prepared with corn starch,acrylic acid (AA) and methacrylate (MA) by using horseradish peroxidase (HRP)/acetyl acetone (ACAC)/hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).The effects of grafting reaction conditions on grafting and grafting properties were studied.The results showed that AA and MA successfully grafted onto starch.The best reaction condition was t=4h,HRP enzyme concentration 12U/mL,monomer/starch ratio=4∶6,AA/MA feeding molar ratio of 3∶7.The graft rate was 39.16% and graft efficiency was 30.26%.The viscosity and viscoelasticity of starch solution were increased after enzymatic modification.In addition,with the increase of acrylic feeding ratio,the hydrophilicity and fracture strength of grafted starch were increased,while the elongation of fracture was decreased,and the grafting products had certain bacteriostatic properties.
