Polymerization-induced colloid aggregation(PICA) method is widely used in the preparation of silica core-shell microspheres because of its simplicity,rapidity and low cost.However,agglomeration and secondary nucleation are easy to occur in the preparation process.Hierarchical sieving is necessary because of its poor monodispersity and uneven particle size.Monodisperse core-shell silica microspheres were prepared by improving the experimental methods and optimizing the experimental conditions.The prepared core-shell microspheres were modified by octadecyl trichlorosilane(C18) and packed into chromatographic column.The microspheres were applied to the determination of 97% berberine hydrochloride and good results were obtained.
