A new type of porous silica@gold nanocomposites was prepared by wet chemical method and its structure was characterized.The adsorption properties of PCB77 on the nanocomposites were explored.The kinetic data results showed that the fitting coefficients of Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms models were 0.9652 and 0.9764,respectively.The correlation coefficient was 0.951 with quasi-first order adsorption kinetics.The nanocomposites had strong adsorption performance and can effectively adsorb PCB77 in water.
