A way to synthesize graphene-coated fabrics was reported adopting graphene oxide as raw material and L-ascorbic acid as reductant.Through multiple impregnation-reduction process,the graphene oxide/graphene coating fabrics were obtained,named C-GO,C-1RGO,C-2RGO,C-3RGO respectively.Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and infrared spectroscopy (FTIR-ATR) were used to characterize and analyze the reduction degree of graphene oxide.It showed that fibers can be attached to a small amount of graphene oxide after dipped in graphene oxide dispersion for one time.With multiple impregnation-reduction process,the fibers' surfaces were completely and uniformly coated with graphene.The conductivity test results showed that the graphene coated cotton fabric had better conductivity,and with the increase of reduction,the conductivity gradually became better.With the increase of reduction,C/O atom ratio of fabric surface increased gradually,which indicated the adequacy of the reduction was increased and thus assisted to prove the gain and improvement of the fabric conductivity.A reference for the application of graphene in the textile field was provided.
