The rmoresponsive poly vinyl caprolactam (PVCL) was utilized to modify TiO2.First TiO2 particles were modified with couple reagent Vinyltriethoxysilane (VETS),then PVCL polymerization was carried out in situ in TiO2 ethanol suspension.The molecular structure and morphology of obtained material were investigated with X-ray diffraction (XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and scanning electron microscope (SEM).The influence of modification on photocatalytic activity was measured using Rhodamine B as organic pollutant.Results indicated that after modification TiO2 remained its anatase crystalline.TiO2-PVCL exhibited temperature dependent phase separation.The photo catalytic degradation rate of Rhodamine B at 40℃ was 1/7 of the rate at 25℃.
