Epoxy resin (YN1828),polyether amine (D230) and polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTG) were used as blends to prepare micron-sized epoxy microspheres through reaction-induced phase separation,and discussed about its dimensions and performance.The results showed that when the amount of PTG was 50 pbw,the average particle size of the microspheres was smaller (1.54μm) and the glass transition temperature (Tg) was higher (107.48℃).When the amount of PTG was changed,the particle size of the microspheres could be controlled within the range of 0.6~3μm,and maintained good monodispersity.When the content of epoxy reactive diluent increased in the blend,the Tg of the obtained microspheres could be reduced to 88.65℃.If isophorone diamine (IPDA) was used as curing agent,the obtained microspheres had Tg of 178.3℃.
