Manganese-zinc ferrite/cadmium sulfide (MZFO/CdS) magnetic heterojunction was successfully prepared by ultrasonic immersion method,and the photocatalytic properties of MZFO/CdS was studied by using sulfamethoxazole (SMZ) as the target under visible light.The structure and morphology of MZFO/CdS were respectively characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope.The results showed that MZFO was beneficial to the crystallization and dispersion of CdS,and MZFO/CdS possesed good magnetic properties.When pH=7,the concentration of SMZ was 20mg/L,MZFO/CdS had the best removal effect on SMZ,the highest relative degradation rate reached to 93.6%,and the highest absolute removal rate achieved 35.53mg/g.
