Abstract: The Polycarbonate-type polyurethane elastomer (PCDL-PUE) was synthesized by using polycarbonate diol as soft segment and diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) as hard segment with different chain lengths and tautomeric extenders.The samples were characterized by various methods such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,differential thermal scanning analysis and dynamic mechanical property analysis.The results showed that the shorter the chain length of the chain extender,the better the overall performance of the synthesized polyurethane,and the polyurethane synthesized with branched chain extender had soft segment crystallization.
