Abstract: Phase change microcapsules (MEPCMs) were prepared by paraffin as core material and melamine modified urea-formaldehyde resin as wall material.The orthogonal experiment was designed to optimize the preparation parameters and calculated the encapsulation efficiency and core percentage.The results showed that when the the mass ratio of core to wall was 2∶1,urea to melamine ratio was 9∶12.6,the emulsifier dosage was 8%,the speed was 1 200r/min,which could exhibit good thermal performance.The thermal properties of MEPCMs were characterized by FT-IR,DSC and TG analysis,which provided a theoretical basis for the application of MEPCMs in wood solar drying.
