Abstract: Aldehyde-based alginate was reacted with hydrazide-based PEG to obtain a dynamical covalent cross-linked alginate hydrogel.The structure of hydrogel was characterized by 1H-NMR,FT-IR and SEM.The rheological properties were measured by rheometer.The results showed that the hydrogel had high elasticity and strength,and with the change of pH value,sol-gel conversion can be realized which was the gel forms under neutral conditions and the sol under acidic conditions.Based on this excellent performance,combined with excellent biocompatibility the hydrogel will lay a solid foundation for the application of such materials in the field of pharmaceutical biology.
