Abstract: Electrospun nanofiber membrane has a large surface area and advantages of high porosity,easy separation as well as good reusability,which can effectively overcome the shortcomings of traditional heavy metal wastewater treatment method.Study on the electrospun nanofiber membranes which were used in the field of heavy metal wastewater treatment were summarized,those studies were classified into three categories:the functional nanofiber membranes,the surface modified nanofiber membranes and the composite nanofiber membranes.In addition,the preparation,the adsorption characteristics and performance of those membranes were introduced comparatively.
