Abstract: Graft modification of fly ash surface by silane coupling agent,which was hydroxylated with fly ash.The fly ash before and after modification was characterized by SEM and FT-IR spectroscopy.The results showed that a new characteristic peak appeared in the infrared spectrum of the modified fly ash,and the surface of spherical fly ash was completely covered by worm-like silane coupling agent.This phenomenon showed that silane coupling agent was bound on the surface of fly ash,and silane coupling agent had been successfully grafted on the surface of fly ash.
