Preparation of high performance primer-free and wear resistant silicone resin for PET film

Abstract: The high flexibility primer-free and wear resistant organic silicon resin was synthesized with tetraethoxysilane (TEOS),phenyltrimethoxysilane (PTMOS),gamma (2,3-epoxypropoxy) propyltrimethoxysilane (KH-560),dimethyldimethoxysilane as the raw material,and then coating on PET film and curing at 120℃.The flexibility,hardness,wear resistance and adhesion of coating were studied through changing the property of raw material.The coating was analyzed by FT-IR,SEM and TGA.Results showed that the molar ratio of TEOS to PTMOS was 0.9,the ratio of KH-560 was 2.24wt%,dimethyldimethoxysilane dosage was 1.3wt%,the silicone resin coating had good properties,the film adhesion can reach 1 level,the hardness reached 5H,the wear resistance achieved the best grade and the water contact angle was 89.6°,and 80℃ centigrade boiled resistant ability was good.
